One of the first things I look at when I greet a person, is their teeth. Instinctively, that’s right where my eyes wander, probably because of my own insecurities. My bottom teeth have tremendous crowding, due to never wearing my retainer. They are also lacking that sparkly white shine.
For awhile, I made excuses. I argued that no one else could really see all the overlapping. When I smiled, my considerably straight top teeth, always masked the dental issues below. Blogging, however, forced me to face the harsh reality. My teeth need help. If uncorrected, I will be faced with a slew of dental issues and expenses down the road.
As soon as my husband heard the word expenses, his ears perked up! He knew Invisalign was the next step. Invisalign allows dentists to straighten your teeth without using brackets or wires. This was music to my ears. The convenience and subtlety of Invisalign is exactly what this busy mom needs.
There is a lot of behind the scenes work that goes into Invisalign. It’s imperative to have the best of the best working on my mouth! Luckily, through lots of word of mouth and seeing the impeccable results from my friend and her husband, I was sold on Clemente Orthodontics. From my first consultation, I knew their team would be the perfect fit. Their office is immaculate and their staff is so sweet and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make my initial visit informative and comfortable. Let’s face it. Who loves the dentist? I know I don’t. They alleviated my stress and uncertainties and spent time setting up a course of action and a successful treatment plan. I left feeling hopeful and one step closer to a beautiful smile.
The results of their efforts have designated them a Diamond Plus Provider by Invisalign. Less than 100 Invisalign providers worldwide are given that distinction! I can’t wait to be another one of their success stories.
I thought it would interesting to document my journey on the blog. It may inspire some of you to take a leap and do something that will make “you” happy and whole again. I held off for so long because of guilt. That guilt stemmed from being a mom and worrying about everyone else but myself. Well, I have officially stepped off the martyr train, and back into the land of the living. “Me time” is positive and crucial for us all. Let the (very long) process of teeth straightening commence!
