We are back with the second half of our jovial Mother’s Day Shoot. These pictures truly depict all the fun we had this day. Gianna was reluctant to wear dresses because they have become completely out of her comfort zone. Ice cream and a day off from school, however, sealed the deal. Bribery is a mother’s best friend!
As I was prepping for the shoot, I thought about all the underlying nuances that go into getting the perfect shot. Warmer weather is a blogger’s dream, but the sun can be our worst enemy. Often, you will see me hidden behind my shades. Most of the time it’s to conceal the dark circles, but on many occasions, it’s simply just too sunny. Squinty eyes are never attractive! My girls are infamous for squinting in every picture, so I was proactive. I ran to the store and purchased them some shades!
Now looking back at these pictures, this simple prop made my vision completely come to life. It added that extra playful sass and girly touch that I was hoping to obtain. It gave us something to work with and ultimately made the shoot more relaxed and authentic.
The ice cream cones finalized my inspiration and added the finishing touches. My girls loved eating them and capturing our playfulness was even sweeter.
Ladies, stop what you are doing. Send me a message and lets create the perfect styled shoot together. Moments end, but pictures last forever!
