Scarves

Dec 7, 2017

So yesterday we talked about fashion jewelry.  Today’s topic: Scarves.  I am always cold, therefore I stock up on a variety of scarves during Fall and Winter to keep me warm and cozy.  Functional and stylish, scarves are another essential accessory.

I am not going to lie.  I struggle with a blanket scarf. I can never get it to look like the online models.  I do my best, but after the 4th or 5th attempt, while strangling myself, my frustration gets the best of me.  I tend to wear my blankets scarves more as ponchos over a heavy sweater or solid blouse.  It protects me from the cooler temps and adds some color and dimension to any basic look. I navigate towards plaids and vibrant hues but solid styles are very practical too. I truly believe scarves are a personal accessory.  They convey a subtle, yet very fashionable message.

Today was a good day.  My new blanket scarf from For Keeps Clothing Co. actually cooperated with me!  I managed to make it work.  Aren’t these colors perfect?!

Infinity scarves are my go-to style. I easily slip them on and go. I generally test mine out first. I have no tolerance for anything itchy, so my collection is overflowing with soft and silky fabrics.  They protect my neck, look great with sweaters, and easily adapt to a coat. There’s something so chic about an infinity scarf peaking through your favorite jacket.

Scarves also make the perfect gift.  You can never have too many!  Below I have compiled some of my favorites at a great price point.  Happy Shopping friends!!
