I barely have time to write anymore. Between the chaos of being a mom, styling, and tending to the daily chores, blogging has taken a backseat. After receiving the final images from some of my recent clients, however, I felt inspired to share!
It’s no secret that I love photographs. Most of my family and friends, however, shy away from the camera and rarely jump in a picture. When I look back through old snapshots, it makes me sad to see minimal photographs showcasing my loved ones. In years to come, these 4×6 glossy images will be the only remnant of our cherished memories. Photographs keep our memories alive! That’s why I urge my clients and friends to embrace the family photo sessions and splurge every now and then!
With Mother’s Day upon us, there’s inevitable stress over the perfect gift. A styled family session is always my first suggestion. It’s something different and unique. It’s the best way to capture the love between a mother and her babies and bring it to life. Every year, I stroll down memory lane and retrieve old pics of my girls. I am overwhelmed with emotion as I flip through each album. The passing of time certainly makes me weepy, but simultaneously overcome with happiness too. Our love radiates in every capture and I get the chance to relive those earlier moments again. It truly is remarkable!
This season I was blessed to work with so many amazing and beautiful women. I loved guiding them through their wardrobe choices. Most importantly, I loved forging new relationships. I can’t help but feel contentment knowing that in some small way, I helped make their session a little easier. The magic happens when the photographer then brings it all to life!
Cheers to all the amazing moms, aunts, sisters, and friends that follow my blog. May your day be filled with relaxation, extra pampering, and lots of pictures!
Below are some of the beautiful mamas and daughters I recently styled. Thanks to the talented Ruffles and Trains and Nikki Amari Photography for bringing my wardrobe visions to the forefront. You ladies inspire me more than you know!
