Let’s play a game. What doesn’t belong? The sun is shining and I am dressed in my Spring attire. Linen pants, an eyelet shirt, and floral heels are confirmation that warmer temperatures have arrived, right? Wrong. In the distance, lie remnants of that irritating, cold, white stuff. Just when specs of green grass start peeking through, another round of storms rear its ugly head.
I must look insane prancing around in pastels and lightweight clothing, when a heavy coat is still dire. Unfortunately, fashion keeps moving. Spring and Summer styles have hit the runways and it’s my job to share my finds before they are gone. I know that most of you are feeling unmotivated and uninspired momentarily, but take my advice. If you are looking to replenish your wardrobe for the warmer months ahead, start now!
In less than 2 weeks, Easter will be upon us. Despite the predicted colder temperatures, Easter is synonymous with florals, pastels, soft neutrals, hats, and fancy frills. Heavy sweaters will not suffice. While I enjoy wearing a dress on this particular holiday, I decided to uphold practicality. I begrudgingly opted to style pants instead. The weather’s firm hold over fashion right now is real, but I wanted to prove that we can certainly look “springy” despite this. My outfit emanates Spring, but still offers some coverage and will conceal your goose bumps during those endless Easter egg hunts!
The eyelet trend is huge right now, and rather then pair it with jeans, I was drawn to these subdued linen pants. I adore purple and this softer shade is so feminine. Comfort and casual, yet still dressy, accompanied with my floral heel.
I will face the cold head on this year and dare a dress, even if my stark legs frighten everyone in the process! I am linking some dresses, blouses, skirts, and pants that caught my eye. All of them embody the “perfect Easter look.” Wishing you a happy, healthy, and very fashionable holiday surrounded by those you love and lots chocolate!
